Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. With the new year brings resolutions, some we stay with, others we break. I have made a resolution as Commander of S.A.L. to get our membership up. I know we can get more members and we need to strive to complete this resolution.
In the near future the S.A.L. would like to do Hope Faith and Love. Hope Faith and Love is an organization that collects your DNA from your mouth and uses it to try and match for bone marrow. The test is simple and painless. If you are a match the collection procedure is even easier. This is a good way to help those in need. We also plan on having some type of spring fling that would be a good way for all to get together for fun and fellowship.

Junior Vice: Just sayin’…...
Greetings – As we kick off the 2014-2015 Administration, I would first like to say a sincere “Thank You” for your votes of confidence in electing me. I’d like to also give the highest recognition and kudos to the core group of folks who are the key players in keeping this place running. What I see are the same dozen or so of these dedicated Volunteers at all of our functions, wearing multiple hats in keeping the post functioning.
Albeit, we surely appreciate your dues as they are critical to funding American Legion objectives in Washington as well as American Legion activities nationwide, at the Post-level, more importantly we need YOUR support. We need to not only see your dues, we need to see YOU. I want to meet YOU!!! Please join us at our next Post Meeting. We would love to see you, hear how you’ve been and what you’ve been up to, and just plain old rubbin’ elbows and sharing fellowship with you.
